1. Background

The government has reformed the social distancing scheme from the previous five to four stages from 1st of July. The levels were simplified from 5 to 4 to make people easily understand the main points of each level. Also the new system is an effort to find a balance between quarantine and daily life recovery amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. This change makes possible for local government can adjust Level 1 to 3 if the situation in the area meets the criteria.
