For Korea Campus

November 23, 2020

Dear Mason Patriots,

On Tuesday November 24, the greater Seoul region, including Incheon, is scheduled to go to the level 2 social distancing scheme, given the number of infections in our area.  In light of this change, Mason Korea will shift back to 100% online instructional delivery as of 8:00 am on November 24.  While this change is regrettable, I am glad that case numbers were low enough to allow for some in-person instruction this fall.  I am also glad that Mason Korea and the IGC campus has remained free of covid infection.  We have done a good job!  I am grateful for everyone’s flexibility and cooperation.  I ask everyone to continue to be vigilant regarding disease prevention practices so that we can continue to ensure a safe campus.  And do keep an out for any covid-19 related news or updates through the Mason Alert email.

There will be as of this writing no other changes to Mason Korea operations.  Students may use the building, but please remember to only enter through the basement, wear your mask properly, wash your hands frequently and practice good social distancing habits.  Do so off campus as well, to protect our community.

Sincerely,

Robert Matz
