This course explores major theories and approaches used to analyze global events, linking them to the field of practical cases in international relations. The course examines key international relations traditions or schools of thought: realism, liberalism, international society, constructivism, international political economy, critical theories, and game theories. It also looks at new IR trends and pressing issues facing the world, thereby, putting international relations concepts to practical use.
