This course aims to teach basic research tools for undergraduate students.  Any major students who are interested in writing a rigorous research paper can take this course.   The course teaches basic topics in regression analysis, which is useful for decision making in business, economics, and global affairs.  Basically it teaches how to apply regression analysis to real life examples.  The selected topics are: simple linear regression, multiple regression, dummy variables, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, serial correlation, Granger causality, instrumental variables, and other time-series techniques.  The semester grade will be based upon class distribution, assuming a normal distribution.  NO MAKE-UP EXAMS AND NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS ALLOWED.

Pre-requisites: Business Statistics (Bus 210 and 310), Economic Principles (Econ 103 and 104).
