The objective of this class is for students to acquire communication skill based on their knowledge of Korean introduced in Korean 110. In this class, students will learn more complicated grammar including a verbal connective, the clausal connective, adjectives, command, comparison, negation, suggestion and obligation form through authentic materials and the textbook. Students will be improving their reading and writing skills through the weekly assignment, written quizzes including vocabulary and dictation quizzes. Since this class strongly focuses on speaking and listening skills, students will have a lot of chances to practice speaking during the class. Oral presentation and role-play will be helpful to improve speaking and listening skills. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to conduct a daily life conversation using more complex sentences based on the grammar they will acquire during the course.

Continuation of basic Korean listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Online and lab work required. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: KORE 102, KORE 110, appropriate placement score, or permission of instructor.
