PSYC 100 - K01: Basic Concepts in Psychology

This class is about us: humans!

How do we behave when we are alone and as opposed with others? Why? How is our biology tied to our behavior? How do we scientifically investigate psychological phenomena that interest us? What types of milestones do we go through as we grow up? What is your personality like? What are the main psychological disorders and how do we treat them? How do we learn? And most importantly, how can you teach your dog how to dunk the ball?

Our class will explore these and a variety of other fundamental aspects of the human psyche by relying on scientific research from the various areas within Psychology.
