Dear Student:

George Mason University’s course evaluation system (https://crserating.gmu.edu/) will be open from November 29 throughout December 13. You may log in and evaluate each of your Fall 2018 courses based on the quality of instruction, content, and other relevant issues. Your honest and accurate assessment of your classroom experience is an important part of GMUK’s effort to offer you a high quality education. It is also helpful to your professors as they reflect on ways to improve their courses and skills.

All students should be aware that there are two characteristics of this evaluation system that protect your anonymity.

1) These course evaluations are submitted anonymously. The system does not provide your professors, the university administration, or other students with any identifying information. Your name or G number will not be associated with your specific comments or ratings.

2) Professors cannot see the anonymous evaluation results until after they submit final grades. Therefore, the evaluation results cannot under any circumstances influence your grade for the course.

With these assurances in mind, I strongly encourage you to take some time in the next two weeks to provide us your feedback.

Thank you, and good luck with your final exams.

Dean Crist
