Efforts of MK Faculty Continues to Grow

2018 has proved a very active year for George Mason University Korea faculty. In that year, the faculty, which numbers nearly 40, was involved in or initiated 64 various projects. These included writing articles for scholarly journals, composing pieces for local newspapers, writing and/or editing books, attending conferences, organizing workshops and symposia, and generating funding for George Mason Koreas.

In 2017, Mason Korea faculty generated 28 projects. That year, the faculty at Mason Korea totaled approximately 30 part and full-time instructors

Their academic activism reflects the kind of well-rounded, high level scholarly professionals we are hiring to work with our students and even the surrounding region,” says Dr. John Crist, Dean of Academic Affairs at Mason Korea.
