What are you looking forward to for the Spring 2019?
I’m looking forward to meeting new people, venturing to different places and creating unforgettable memories. With every new year, there’s the excitement of painting a beautiful masterpiece on a blank canvas. I can’t wait to see what my 2019 masterpiece will look like.

What are your plans with the residents on your floor?
I think there are three important aspects to creating a good living environment: comfort, respect and communication. As this is a shared space, I think it’s important for all residents to not only feel like we’re part of a family but also respect each other’s spaces. Therefore, I plan to instill those three aspects on my floor through effective communication and collaboration.

Why are you excited to be the Resident Advisor?
In the last semester, I saw Resident Advisors were organizing events in the school. It would be fun if I can participate in planning these activities. Also, as a resident advisor, I am looking forward to build relationships with the residents.

What are you looking forward to for the Spring 2019?
One of the main works that RAs need to do is organizing a school event. I wish RAs could hold an event that everyone can participate and enjoy, so that Spring 2019 could be a memorable semester.

What are your plans with the residents on your floor?
RA should take a responsibility on supporting residents’ life. I will make residents feel free to ask me any questions for the ones who are new to Mason Korea. If you have any questions, requirements, or even concerns about the school life, just knock on my door!

Hea Su Lee

Junior, Global Affairs
Why are you excited to be the Resident Advisor?
I believe Resident Advisor should be the position of a leader that can support the residence life. I’m excited that I could be a part of making more bonding community based on Mason spirit and community spirit while guiding the residents.

What are you looking forward to for the Spring 2019?
There was some limitation of RA activity that came from unfamiliarity with the culture of the resident community. However, I think students started to recognize the role of RA and the concept of residence life. I hope Spring 2019 could be the semester of progress in terms of RA and also GMUK.

What are your plans with the residents on your floor?
One of the duties of RA is to help the school community by encouraging student participation in various events. I would like to help to make and execute a program to grab both rabbits; supporting various kinds of school events by increasing the student participation while also improving familiarity and communication among the residents.

Jae Hee Lee

Why are you excited to be a Resident Advisor?
I am definitely excited to be the RA because it is a great opportunity to interact with the new students and returning students. What am I looking forward to for the Spring 2019?
As a Residents Advisor, I am definitely looking forward to meet my residents and make fun activities for them. I am also looking forward to be involved with our school activities and interact with different students. But mostly, I am looking forward to be in a new GMUK community and grow with them.

What are your plans with your residents in your floor?
My goals with my residents in my floor is to get everyone to become friends with each other. This is because I believe that will make their dorm life better by getting help or giving help to each other. I will also try my best to come up with an acitivity that will attract the residents to be involved and have fun.

Yeseul Lee

Sophomore, Management

Why are you excited to be the Resident Advisor?
I’m so excited to be an Resident Advisor. Since most of the students of our community decide to live in dorm during semesters, taking care of residence life is one of the most important role in GMUK. Therefore, I’m so glad that I can contribute myself to give students better residence life.
What are you looking forward to for the spring 2019?
As a sophomore, first of all, I’m looking forward to meet freshmen of spring 2019. My first semester at GMUK was also spring. I’d love to give new students advises and help them to adjust our community well. Especially I want to take a good care of for those who were permitted to enter our university as PPP students since I was PPP student too.
What are your plans with the residents on your floor?
During our dorm life, we will be like a family. It is because we share a space and live together at least one semester. If you cheat or hate your family, they will soon split up. Therefore, I will make it a priority to guide our residents to prevent such a thing from happening by trying to ensure that active communication is achieved.

Youjung Shin

Sophomore, Business Management

Why are you excited to be the Resident Advisor?
In 2018, I enjoyed my life in the dormitory, thanks to the RAs. I am so grateful that I can help other students enjoy their experience in the dorimitories, as the previous RAs had done for me. I am also looking forward to meeting incoming students and interacting with our school peers, outside of school life.

What are you looking forward to for the Spring 2019?
I am expecting Spring 2019 to be an exciting term for all incoming and returning students! I hope that the new Student Council as well as RAs, can cheer up and strive hard for our school’s welfare. Furthermore, I wish Spring 2019 can be a term that can reflect on the students’ wants and needs.

What are your plans with the residents on your floor?
My plan is to make sure that the residents on my floor have a sense of consideration and responsibility. Also, I want to foster a friendly atmosphere on the floor so that everyone can feel comfortable. Throughout the residence experience, I hope that everyone can be satisfied, and therefore, use the double dormitory afterwards, too!
