Assistant Manager of International and Residential Services

Wonseok is a member of the Office of University Life. He is mainly responsible for;

Student International Immigration Compliance
Student International Programs
Student Campus Transition and Travel Support
Student Resources for Living in Korea (Housing, Health Insurance, etc.)

Wonseok was awarded our first Staff Recognition Award in 2017. The award is an acknowledgment of a strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and consistent demonstration of cooperation with faculty and staff. In 2021, Wonseok recently celebrated his 5th year service anniversary.

Prior to joining us, Wonseok worked for several years as a student program coordinator in Kyung Hee University’s Office of International Affairs overseeing cultural programs, immigration compliance, financial aid, and housing operation for international students.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and international political relations from Kyung Hee University. He also studied extensively as an exchange student at Aarhus University.

In his time with Mason Korea, Won Seok has always displayed a strong sense of student-centeredness and deep concern for students which will continue to serve him and Mason Korea well in the coming years. His knowledge of our institution and the relationships he has built with our students over the years is an asset to the Office of University Life continues to seek to improve the quality of its support of our students.
