Yung Ku Ha is the Chairman of the Korea Federation of Banks, the only banking association in Korea serving as the primary advocate of the nation’s $2.11 trillion (or 2,288 trillion won) banking industry and its 135,474 employees.

Prior to joining the KFB in December 2014, Mr. Ha served for ten years as CEO of Citibank Korea Inc. and as the Chairman of Citigroup Korea Inc. from 2010 to 2014. He had a stint as CEO of KorAm Bank from May 2001 to March 2004 after 20 years in Citibank. It was through a tender offer process in 2004 when KorAm Bank became part of Citigroup, and Mr. Haw returned to Citigroup. Under his leadership, Citibank Korea Inc. grew to become the most profitable and largest foreign bank in Korea, and Citibank Korea became the role model for many commercial banks in Korea.
