Membership Eligibility

The Committee of Academic Integrity's Honor Committee membership is extremely limited.

Both undergraduate and graduate students must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average at the time of application, be in good academic and conduct standing at the time of application, and successfully complete training and orientation. A student member’s membership may be revoked if his or her cumulative grade point average falls below a 3.0 or he or she is subject to any academic or conduct disciplinary actions. Please note that a student applicant must also name one faculty willing to recommend the student to the position.

Faculty and staff must have a master’s degree or higher from an accredited program.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an online training module. In addition to hearing cases, Honor Committee members may be called upon to assist with programming initiatives, participate in classroom presentations, or assist faculty members with proctoring.
