The GMUK Progression Scholarship is a merit-based award for students transitioning to study at Fairfax for one or a maximum of two semesters. The scholarship may be applied to either the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters. The purpose of the scholarship is to help defray some of the tuition costs and support you and your family to make the best of your education at George Mason University. The Progression Scholarship applies only toward your studies at GMU-Fairfax and not towards studies at non-GMU institutions. * The award will be distributed as follows: first half in the first semester and second half in the second semester. If the student is in Fairfax for only one semester then the student will receive half of the total award. Awards will be posted approximately 10 days before the start of each semester.
** Cumulative GPA as of the students' latest Spring semester will be used for tier determination.
*** Students must be in good standing and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 to be eligible for the scholarship.

Otherwise, the award will be forfeited. Please note that George Mason University reserves the right to rescind all or part of this scholarship if the student does not meet these requirements.
Students approved for the Fairfax transition will be automatically considered for this scholarship. No separate application is required.
