This course focuses on achieving the following objectives by providing fundamental and comprehensive knowledge and experiential opportunities in the creation of interactive content, including games, through the study of game mechanics theory and hands-on board game production:
 - Learning various interaction design methodologies through game mechanics.
 - Understanding initial planning methods for creating interactive content based on fun.
 - Assisting in the creative planning and creation of content in various IT convergence areas.

Introductory overview of the game development process with an emphasis on game design. Through detailed study of historical and current games, students will learn the language and structure needed to develop their own game ideas. Students will learn the many aspects of a game development team and how each of these roles contributes to a game's overall design.Offered by Computer Game Design. Limited to three attempts.
