Welcome to Life at Mason Korea

We wholeheartedly welcome you to George Mason University Korea! Whether you start in the summer, fall, or spring, you'll need to live in a residence hall for each semester of your first year. Transfer students have the option of living on campus or off campus. This page provides information necessary for you to better prepare yourself for your on-campus residence experience at George Mason University, Korea campus. Please read carefully for more information. 

1. New Residents


For first-time residents: The IGC Housing application period for new students will become available when approved by IGC Housing. 

All new freshmen are required to complete the IGC Housing application during the designated period. Approved freshmen and returning students will receive an email regarding additional information required to complete the IGC Housing application successfully. 

Step 1. Visit the following link: IGC Housing

Step 2. Click "Go to create temporary ID for incoming students"

Step 3. Click "Create temporary account" 

Step 4. Complete the IGC Housing Application process.


Chest X-Ray TB Test: All students residing on-campus must submit the Chest X-Ray TB test result (within 3 months prior to check in) as required by Korean law. You may scan/screenshot the result and upload on the IGC Housing application. 

Proof of Payment: You would need to upload your proof of IGC Housing payment (scan/screenshot) to complete your IGC Housing application.

2. Students Returning from Leave of Absence and/or Military Leave

For returning students from Leave of Absence or Military Leave, please follow the instructions for 'New Residents.'

3. Apply for On-Campus Housing & Payment
