Interviews help us learn more about candidates while also providing the opportunity for candidates to meet our employees, understand the university, and see our work environment first-hand.
Presentations or Written test (Staff Only)
For some jobs, candidates may be asked to deliver a presentation or take a written test. For candidate’s preparation, information will be shared with the candidates prior to the time of presentation or test.
Reference checks (Domestic and International Staff & Faculty)
Reference checks are conducted for all final candidates. An employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion and results of reference checks.
Hiring Decisions (Domestic and International Staff & Faculty)
All hiring decisions are made by the search committee. The timeframe for a decision varies depending upon the role. As soon as a candidate is selected for a position, s/he will be notified by GMUK HR Specialist to discuss about the job offer. Alternatively, GMUK HR will notify interviewed candidates who were not selected.
