Mason Korea emergency response structure consists of two major groups, Mason Korea Emergency Executive Council(MK EEC) and Mason Korea Emergency Operations Team(MK EOT).
Mason Korea Emergency Executive Council(MK EEC)
This group is responsible for policy and decision making that helps protect life, property and the environment while limiting vulnerability and damage to the university during emergencies. Explicit emergency response duties of the Mason Korea Emergency Executive Council during an emergency are:

- Advise the GMUK Emergency Operations Team on continuity of operations strategies and in country relocation
- Make or relay the decision to evacuate the Mason Korea campus and direct the GMUK Emergency Operations Team to initiate evacuation procedures.
Mason Korea Emergency Operations Team(MK EOT)
The Mason Korea Emergency Operations Team is comprised of eight representatives from the Mason Korea administration who have the resources and/or the knowledge necessary to help the Mason Korea campus prepare, mitigate, respond, and recover from an emergency.
Individuals are assigned specific roles and responsibilities to implement the Mason Korea Emergency Plan; respective roles and responsibilities for each position are outlined here and are further defined in incident-specific response guidelines.
