Course Description
MGMT 303 K01 provides students with learning opportunities to explore fundamental theories and concepts of management by examining the nature of managerial work across various business models and within rapidly changing business environments. Core managerial functions—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—are analyzed in the context of contemporary organizations. In this course, you will take on the role of a manager and practice this role within an organizational setting. You will have the opportunity to develop managerial competencies through in-class case discussions. As part of the experiential learning component, you will assume the role of Board of Directors (BOD) members and participate in BOD meetings to make key decisions for power generation companies in Korea.
