Course Description
MGMT 453 K01 is designed to examine the paths to small business ownership, including starting an enterprise or purchasing an existing business. Focus will be on venture business creating, franchising, and licensing, as well as family-run enterprises. The basic management theories for running small business will be provided by combining the courses you have learned in the business school. Through case discussions related to small business operations, students will have the chance to grasp the flavor of the small business management. Field surveys to develop ‘Your Business Plan’ will provide career opportunities for students.
