The lecture was based on the theme “Life and Serving Your Country: Unlimited Opportunities for you.” Dr. Wilson delivered a motivational message on life as service member as well as stories on how to be successful after military service. He emphasized what service members could do in college after service, the importance of education as a life-time effort, and how to never let the world tell you that you can’t be successful. Dr. Wilson’s lecture took place in one of the most disputed areas in the world, so he took the opportunity to also talk about the conflict analysis and resolution program and how service members can become peace scholars and practitioners after discharge with a degree from George Mason University, Korea.

George Mason’s Conflict Analysis and Resolution program is one of the most reputable majors as the program is ranked No.1 among the U.S. universities in 2018 (Source: Schools.com), and is arguably the oldest and largest program of its kind in the world.
