The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Mason Korea is the global extension of the CIE at the Costello College of Business. We serve as a strategic bridge between the startup ecosystems of South Korea and Northern Virginia, providing a practical pathway for students, faculty, and startups to connect with the "Silicon Valley of the East."
What We Do
- Experiential Learning: We foster entrepreneurial talent through workshops and competitions, such as Patriot Pitch Competition Korea.
- Global Soft-Landing: We help Korean startups enter the U.S. market through programs like the NISA (Northern Virginia International Soft Landing Accelerator), providing mentorship, workspace, and investor access.
- Applied Research: We conduct data-driven research on startup ecosystems and innovation policy with students.
