Mason Korea holds symposium on international security

George Mason University Korea held a symposium entitled “International Security Issues and Concerns: Beyond Asia” on May 30 regarding the timely topics of world safety and security. Five distinguished scholars from George Mason's Fairfax campus gathered at the Korea campus as main panelists.

The two-hour long conference covered areas of nuclear and conventional weapons and deterrence issues. Panelists looked into opportunities and challenges for the U.S. national security strategy in the region, as it relates to Asia and the world community.
