I've never lived abroad and I used to struggle to fully understand and speak English. I always constructed words and sentences in my head first before saying anything. Now, I'm comfortable speaking English. I’m also actively involved in school activities, including serving as a Chingu program board member, and I previously served as an Economics representative. I never hesitate to ask questions and state my opinions. I get good grades and I’m enjoying school life with both my international and Korean friends.
My English skills (both written and spoken) improved dramatically through the PPP program. My professors also played a big role. Also, the program’s supplementary classes were very helpful for preparing for classes and gaining confidence. The PPP program was a true milestone in my academic career, helping me adjust to the English curriculum, culture, and campus life at Mason Korea.
