Mason Korea Students Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccination at Fairfax Campus

Last week, George Mason's president, Dr. Gregory Washington, announced plans to begin vaccinating the Mason community this month.

The university has been working with the Virginia Department of Health towards providing vaccines to Mason students, staff, and faculty. All Mason Korea students arriving to the Fairfax campus in August will be eligible for vaccination. Vaccination is free for all members of the community.

The vaccine is a critical step to protect the Mason community, but COVID-19 is still highly contagious and new variants pose greater threats of infection. For vaccination efforts to be effective, it is imperative that all members of the community continue to follow Mason’s public health and safety guidelines even after being vaccinated.
