Last month, five Mason Korea alumni presented at the 2021 IGC Career Fair – Alumni Festival on IGC’s first metaverse platform, Gather Town.
Over 150 participants attended the online career fair. The event featured fifteen Incheon Global Campus (IGC) alumni who are working professionally both in Korea and the U.S., and studying at the nation's top graduate schools. Current students gained first-hand information and had a chance to network with talented alumni.
Mason Korea alumni Minkyu Kang (Business, ’17) currently at SK Bioscience, Huiyoung Kim (Global Affairs, ’18) at UNOSD, Min Sung Kang (Accounting, ’20) at Deloitte Anjin LLC, Yelim Ku (Global Affairs, ’21) at Philips Korea, and Sehyun Jeong (Business, ’18) at travel platform MAPVEL, which she co-founded, talked about their experiences in the marketplace.
“Our alumni did not hesitate to participate as speakers at the event to serve their underclassmen,” said Sang Yong Lee, Director of Mason Korea’s Career Development Center and Student Services, adding, “They did their best to prepare for their lectures, and shared their unique stories to inspire current students and instill Patriot pride in them.”
