Mason Korea Welcomes Costa Rican President for MOU Signing Ceremony

photoMason Korea welcomed the Costa Rican President H.E. Carlos Alvarado Quesada and his delegation to the Incheon Global Campus (IGC) last week for an MOU signing ceremony held in collaboration with the University of Utah Asia Campus.

Mason Korea Campus Dean Robert Matz signed an MOU with Mr. Rodolfo Solano Quiros, Chancellor of the Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship for mutual collaboration on educational initiatives. Through this new partnership, Mason Korea and the Costa Rican Embassy in Korea agree to collaborate on symposia, conferences, joint research, and lifelong education programs.

In addition to President Alvarado and Foreign Minister Quirós, the Costa Rican Ambassador to South Korea H.E. Alejandro Rodríguez Zamora, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) Commissioner Won-Jae Lee, the Chairman of IGC Pyung Ryun Yu, and CAO of the University of Utah Asia Campus Gregory Hill attended the signing ceremony.

“We are delighted to sign an MOU with Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship to expand educational opportunities," said Dean Matz, adding, "We will do our best to foster future talent through collaboration with Costa Rica.”
