A Virginia congressional delegation including Senator Chap Petersen will be visiting Korea for five days from August 22nd to the 31st.
In particular, the delegation will be visiting Mason Korea to mark George Mason University's 50th anniversary. Senator Petersen passed a bill in 2010 to allow Mason Korea graduates to receive the same US degree as George Mason University graduates and allow cross-campus educational exchange. The Korea campus was established in 2014 as an extended campus instead of a branch campus.
