George Mason University Korea signed an MOU with the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and international NGO Onhappy to collaborate on educational support for underprivileged student groups in Incheon.
This agreement particularly seeks to support an educational initiative connecting Mason Korea student mentors with students in one of the Incheon islands. International and Korean students from Mason Korea will provide English-taught classes and cultural exchange activities for local students.
This tripartite agreement is expected to bridge the educational gap caused by COVID-19 and help students in the island areas grow into global citizens.
