Mason Korea Signs MOU with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

Mason Korea officially partnered with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) at an MOU signing ceremony held at HUFS in Seoul in late August.

President Gregory Washington signed the MOU on behalf of George Mason University with HUFS President Park Jeong-Woon. Mason Korea Campus Dean Robert Matz, Admissions and Govt. Affairs Dean Kelley Chung, and Mason Korea’s US advisory board members Chap Petersen (Virginia State Senator), Tracy Comstock (President of US-Korea Alliance Foundation), and Hyun Lee (Executive PR Director for the Organization of Korean American Women) also attended the ceremony.

President Washington and Mason Korea leaders had productive discussions with HUFS leaders about potential areas for collaboration. One area includes promoting cross-campus interaction, noting HUFS’ Songdo campus located just across the Mason Korea campus.
