Mason Korea recently partnered with Buckers from Austin, a restaurant business owned by Mason alumnus Mike Kwon (Economics, ’00).
Mason Korea Campus Dean Robert Matz presented Mason Korea's first "University Supporter" plaque to serial entrepreneur Mike Kwon, who owns Buckers and over ten other restaurants in Songdo and Seoul.
Buckers is a highly popular Tex Mex restaurant that offers a wide range of authentic dishes. It is conveniently located at Triple Street Mall, right across campus. Additionally, all members of the Mason Korea community are being offered a generous 30% discount.
"I’m glad to partner with Mason Korea and with this opportunity as a starting point, I'd like to offer more commitments to students, not only in the form of discounts, but by also offering a mentoring program for those interested in the F&B industry," said Mike Kwon.
