Mason Korea is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Shannon Davis as Interim Campus Dean, effective June 25. Dr. Davis brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served Mason Korea in several key positions.
Since May 2021, Dr. Davis has served as Mason Korea's Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs, during which time she has overseen curricula development and championed initiatives promoting student success and faculty excellence. She has also served as Director of Mason Korea's Industry-University Collaboration Foundation (IUCF) since its launch in August 2022. In these roles, Dr. Davis has worked closely with Mason Korea's leadership, faculty, and staff, as well as in close coordination with Mason’s Northern Virginia campuses.
Dr. Davis' commitment to Mason Korea extends beyond academics. Since Fall 2021, she has co-chaired the DEI Taskforce, demonstrating her dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. She will continue serving in her previous roles alongside her new responsibilities as Interim Campus Dean.
Dr. Davis will serve as Interim Campus Dean until the new Campus Dean takes office.
