Students in Dr. Carey McCormack’s HIST 387: History of Southeast Asia class at Mason Korea have transformed their research into a captivating virtual exhibit.
The course, taught in Spring 2024, explored the rich history of Southeast Asia from its pre-historic origins to the present day. Students chose topics that sparked their interest and conducted original research, carefully examining primary and secondary sources. Their findings are now showcased in a comprehensive virtual exhibit.
The virtual exhibit, a culmination of the class's collective research, highlights a diverse range of themes and topics related to contemporary issues and historical events in the region. Each section offers a unique perspective based on original research conducted throughout the semester.
