2025 Advisory Board Meeting Brings Together Mason Korea and Fairfax Leadership

Following the recent Spring 2025 Commencement ceremony, Mason Korea hosted its 2025 Advisory Board Meeting and a special VIP Luncheon at the IGC Guest House Banquet Hall.

The meeting brought together senior leadership from George Mason University’s Fairfax and Korea campuses, along with members of the Mason Korea advisory board. James Antony, Provost and Executive Vice President, and Janette Muir, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs—who traveled from the Fairfax campus to attend Commencement—took an active part in the day’s discussions.

Campus Dean Joshua Park opened the meeting by sharing Mason Korea’s current direction and long-term vision, and introduced the board members. Associate Dean of External Affairs Soyoung Kwon provided an overview of the advisory board’s role and how their engagement will continue to support the campus’s development across key areas.

The event served as a timely opportunity to reflect on recent progress and strengthen collaboration between campus leadership and board members.
