Mason Korea successfully hosted the 2026 Incheon Global Citizenship Camp from July 29–31 in partnership with the Incheon National University HUSS Inclusive Society Project Group and the Nanjeong Peace Education Center of the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education.
The three-day camp welcomed 30 second-year middle school students from 24 schools across Incheon for an immersive educational experience focused on global citizenship, peace education, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), debate, and collaborative learning.
Mason Korea organized the camp's global citizenship lectures, SDG activities, debate sessions, and programs at the Incheon Global Campus (IGC). The university was also supported by 23 student facilitators from Mason Korea and Incheon National University, including members of Mason Korea's MKDS (Mason Korea Debate Society) and SDGs Builders, who mentored discussions, guided team projects, and encouraged active participation throughout the program.
Participants explored global issues including climate change and food security through interactive workshops, developed communication and critical thinking skills in structured debates, and took part in experiential peace education at the Nanjeong Peace Education Center and Gyodong Island. Team-building activities throughout the camp encouraged collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving.
The camp concluded with a closing ceremony recognizing outstanding participants and providing students with an opportunity to reflect on their experiences.
