Mason Korea hosted the final round of the 2026 Patriot Pitch Competition Korea on November 2, bringing together six student startup teams to showcase their innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial potential. Held at the G101 Event Hall, the competition provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their ideas to a panel of four industry judges and demonstrate how their solutions could address real-world challenges.

The competition featured student teams representing a range of disciplines and institutions, with projects spanning artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, travel technology, education, beauty, and digital ticketing. Each team presented its business concept, highlighting the problem it aimed to solve, its proposed solution, and its potential for future development.

The event reflected Mason Korea's continued commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and providing students with opportunities to apply their academic knowledge beyond the classroom.

Beyond recognizing outstanding business ideas, the Patriot Pitch Competition Korea offered students an opportunity to develop skills essential to entrepreneurship, including critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and business presentation.

By presenting their ideas to industry judges, participants gained experience communicating complex concepts, articulating the value of their proposed solutions, and considering how their projects could be developed into viable businesses.

The competition also created opportunities for students to engage with the broader entrepreneurship community and learn from peers pursuing innovative projects in different fields.

As George Mason University's international campus in Incheon, South Korea, Mason Korea continues to provide opportunities that connect academic learning with practical experience and international engagement.

The Patriot Pitch Competition Korea serves as one example of how the university supports student innovation and encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to explore the potential of their ideas beyond the classroom.

With ALTIVIUM earning the opportunity to advance to Fairfax in 2027, this year's competition marked another step in connecting student entrepreneurship in Korea with opportunities at George Mason University's U.S. campus.
