Registration is now open for our last game tournament of the semester. Want a shot at wrecking your professor’s video game racing career? Then here is your big chance!
The Mason Grand Prix is our first 32-player Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament open to all Mason students, staff, and faculty. We will provide the equipment, so simply sign up, show up, and play. Lunch will be provided to all tournament participants, and prizes will be awarded to the top eight players.
- Who: All Mason students, staff, and faculty. Valid Mason identification must be producible.
- What: Local 32-player Mario Kart 8 Deluxe video game tournament.
- When: November 25, 2019, from 12pm to 2pm KST.
- Where: Student lounge.
- Participation Rules and Details: Prior to the RSVP’s close, 16 RSVP slots will be reserved for students and 16 RSVP slots will be reserved for staff and faculty. At the RSVP’s close, surplus signatures will be treated as backup participants in chronological RSVP order without regard to student, staff, or faculty status. The RSVP link will close at 6pm KST on November 22, 2019. Please be aware that a tournament participant may be excluded from playing if that participant (a) does not check in at the student lounge by 12:05pm KST, or (b) cannot produce valid Mason identification (e.g., Mason photo ID card).
