[Residence Life] Bi-Annual Fundraising Event - Housing For Korean War Veterans

Tuesday, November 12, 2019 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM KST

We are delighted to announce our biannual fundraising event of ‘Housing for Korean War Veterans’.

The Ethiopian Kagnew Battalions were successive battalions which fought as part of the United Nations Command during the Korean War. The Kagnew Battalion engaged in combat 238 times and won every encounter, as both aggressors and defenders. However after the war, when the Communist Junta of Mengistu Hailemariam came to power in 1974, it did everything to erase the "embarrassing" record of the Kagnew's service against the communists.

The war heroes are suffering from a lack of support and financial issues even though they have never hesitated to fight for Korean’s freedom during the Korean War.

Now, it is time for us to help them by creating meaningful value.

Please feel free to visit us in the Global Lounge and donate 3000 KRW. The rewards for the donation will consist of a cookie house kit and an official donation certificate from the ‘Onday Organization’ (Find More: http://onday.or.kr/wp/?p=18533).
