Room Decoration Contest

 

Submissions open: Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 – March 27th, 2020

Judging via Student Affairs Office with Peer Advisor: Monday, March 23, 2020

Winner announcement: Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.

 

Dates and times:

This event will start March 24th, 2020 and end March 27th, 2020. The winner will be announced March 31st, 2020.

 

How to enter:

  1. Choose a category and decorate your room based on the following:
    1. School spirit
    2. Creativity
    3. Use of color
    4. Theme
    5. Overall design.
  2. Take pictures that show off how awesome it is.
  3. Include following information and attach 3-5 of your best images of your room, and submit via email at mkpa@gmu.edu.
    1. Name of submitter/ submitters (if you have a roommate)
    2. G-number and phone number
    3. Major & year in school
    4. Category of your room
    5. Include name and G-number of roommate if living in a double

 

Terms and Conditions:

  1. All photos are in compliance with Community Living Standards and Student Code of Conduct.
  2. Entering the contest grants Mason Korea a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, alter, modify, distribute and brand all media gathered for their purposes at their discretion.
  3. Only registered students at Mason Korea are eligible to enter.
  4. Only one entry per bedroom (single and double rooms count as one bedroom and one entry). All roommates (sharing the same bedroom only) must agree to participate in the contest.
  5. Your submission must include 3-5 photos of your room. And your photos will be shared with the community.
  6. Student Affairs & Peer Advisors will review all entries before the final judging.
  7. All finalist voting will take place via Peer Advisor Instagram(gmuk_pa ) story on March 30th, 2020.

 

Prize:

A first, second, and third place winner will be chosen.

  • First place: $20 gift card – Starbucks
  • Second place: $10 gift card – Starbucks
  • Third place: $5 gift card – Starbucks
