Greetings from Mason Korea! We hope you are excited for the Fall 2021 in Korea. We would like to take this opportunity to provide valuable and resourceful information for your transition to Songdo and answer any questions you may have during your first couples of days as you settle in.
This is a highly important session for international students who are in quarantine on-campus and required for all new international students.
Quarantine checking Process & Emergency Protocol
We will be informing international students about the quarantine checking processes and procedures and emergency protocol.
Alien Registration Card Application & Appointment at the Incheon Immigration Office
All international students who hold D-2 visa are required to apply for the Alien Registration Card to have valid status during their study at Mason Korea. On this day, we will be individually sending you the Alien Registration Card appointment at the Incheon Immigration Office. Please check your emails to verify that you have received the confirmation of the appointment.
Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Bank Account Application Session
Students who intend to say in Korea longer than 6 months are advised to open a bank account. In partnership with Industrial Bank of Korea, students have the preference of creating their student ID that is tied to the local Korean bank. This session will review the application process and procedure to create a local Korean bank account with Industrial Bank of Korea.
