We are happy to announce the Fall 2022 MK Research Writing Competition! There are two divisions in the competition: Freshman Division and Open Division.

The Freshman Division is open to all MK freshman students (including third-semester PPP students) and the Open Division is open to all current MK sophomore and above students.

Papers written specifically for the competition or for a course are welcome. In previous semesters, we have received papers produced specifically for this event and for courses across the curriculum. Likely, you have already written or are currently writing a paper for a composition, history, economics, or similar course that would also meet the requirements of this competition. Enter it! We especially encourage students who are currently taking ENGH 302 or took ENGH 302 last semester to consider entering their Literature Review assignments—they satisfy all the requirements for the Open Division!

The full writing prompt and requirements for the competition can be seen here.
