We are delighted to announce the Fall 2023 Career Talk – Alumni Career Insights: “Crafting Your Path to Success from Campus to the US Job Market” on Monday, October 30th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM – in collaboration with EAP 116: English and Disciplinary Skills for Multilingual Students.

This career talk event is a great opportunity where you can hear from a Mason Korea alumna who has advanced her career paths through off-campus internships and participated in various student life activities. This is required for the second-semester students taking EAP 116 but is open to any Mason students who are interested.

Michaela (Seulki) Kim is a GIAC-certified Forensics Examiner who has experience with various devices and OS systems. She has been with the CRA Forensics team since February 2022, and prior to her current role, she had worked for George Mason University's Facilities IT department as a Help Desk Lead.

Ms. Kim will discuss topics such as how to find the right career for oneself in college, how to use resources from Mason, and how to build a successful career in the US, based on her own experiences. As she has successfully acquired the H-1B visa in the United States, she will be able to share valuable information with the Mason community regarding the process of employment in the States and work experience.
