ESG from business perspectives

The second meet-up session of the "Sustainability and ESG Mentor" alumni group at Mason Korea was held on May 11th, 2023. The topic 'ESG from business perspectives’ was presented by alum Gue Yong Lee ('20, Accounting), MBA candidate of Thunderbird School of Global Management.

 

Around 10 alumni and MK students joined, including Huiyong Kim ('18, Global Affairs), Youngjin Kang ('07, Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution), and Student President Hyunwoo Cho discussed various challenges in the business sector related to sustainability, environment, employment, human rights, transparency, and accountability.

 

This GMU Alumni Association Korea Chapter’s ESG study group will organize monthly sessions open to the entire Mason community, so please stay tuned for their upcoming lectures in June 2023!
