SDGs and international organizations

The third meet-up session of the "Sustainability and ESG Mentor" alumni group at Mason Korea was held on May 27th, 2023. The topic 'SDGs and international organizations’ was presented by alum Huiyong Kim ('18, Global Affairs), Administrative Assistant of the United Nations Office For Sustainable Development (UNOSD).

 

Around 10 alumni and MK students joined, including Gueyong Lee ('19, Accounting), Youngjin Kang ('07, Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution) discussed various challenges in international organizations related to sustainability, environment, employment, human rights, transparency, and accountability.

 

This GMU Alumni Association Korea Chapter’s ESG study group will organize monthly sessions open to the entire Mason community, so please stay tuned for their upcoming lectures in June 2023!
