Spring 2024 MK Research Writing Competition Q&A

The Open Division is open to all current MK sophomore and above students.
 
The full writing prompt and requirements for the competition can be seen here, or by scanning the QR code on the poster.
 
Prizes in each division are awarded as Tuition Scholarship Money: 
 
1st Place: $500 USD  2nd Place: $300 USD  3rd Place: $200 USD
 
DEI Award: $200 USD (The DEI Award is given to a paper that promotes understanding and discussion related to diversity, equity, and inclusion)
 
Submissions for the competition should be emailed to Professor Jason Kifer (jkifer@gmu.edu) by May 15 (Wed). 

Students who are selected as finalists in the competition should also be available for a Q&A session on May 29 (Wed).
