Mason Korea (119 Songdomunhwa-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, Korea)
We invite you to participate in 1,001 Plays, a 10-minute play festival that serves as a bridge between playwrights and audiences worldwide. This annual event offers students a unique opportunity to showcase their original 10-minute plays, scenes, or monologues to peers from partnering institutions across the globe. It challenges participants to engage with and interpret each other's ideas across diverse languages and cultures. Mason Korea is a proud Global Partner of 1,001 Plays.
This semester we seek readers for six roles for two scripts:
• Threads by Karen Kremer, SCFU, Brazil
• The Wilderness by Zhang Zijin, Nanjing University, China
Rehearsal Period: April
Performance Date: May 3
Interested in reading for the festival? Contact 1,001 Plays Faculty Mentor, Alice Wrigglesworth, by March 18 at awriggle@gmu.edu.
