MK 2024 Fall Mental Health First Aid Training

Past Event

November 19, 2024, 9:30 AM to November 22, 2024, 11:30 AM KST

The registration for the Fall 2024 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training is now open!

MHFA has been offered to the Mason community since 2014 and provides essential information about the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues, along with strategies for connecting with those in need.

This training develops basic mental health support skills but does not replace professional care. Since mental health concerns are common, it is crucial to recognize the signs and symptoms and feel confident engaging in supportive conversations to encourage individuals to seek appropriate professional help.

Certification Details: Participants who complete this 8-hour online training will earn a 3-year certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Training Details: The 8-hour training is typically divided into four 2-hour sessions at Mason Korea. You must attend all four sessions to receive certification.

The Fall 2024 Mental Health First Aid Online Training schedule is as follows:

Nov 19 – Tuesday, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM KST
Nov 20 – Wednesday, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM KST
