Who says meditation is about hours of cross-legged sitting, chanting, and finding your legs falling asleep before you do?
Far from it.
Join us in learning simple sitting and walking meditations that you can use in daily life; whale music, singing bowl, scented candles and perfect lotus posture are not included, or required. We’ll also cover how to set up a meditation space at home without revamping it into an opulent Zen Garden and share some of the benefits (as well as drawbacks) of meditation.
This workshop is about generating serenity in our busy life, focus and clarity during stressful encounter, and may be less meltdown because of bad Wi-Fi … It is about finding balance without feeling like it's a slog!
This event is open to MK students, staff, and faculty.
