Who We Are

The Office of International Relations & Strategic Initiatives (IRSI) advances Mason Korea's global engagement by building meaningful partnerships, developing international programs, and creating opportunities for collaboration across borders.

We connect Mason Korea with universities, organizations, and institutions around the world while serving as a bridge between Mason Korea and George Mason University's Fairfax campus. Through international partnerships, student mobility, short-term programs, institutional agreements, and strategic initiatives, we support the university's commitment to global education and collaboration.

Our work spans the full lifecycle of international engagement—from identifying and developing strategic partnerships to coordinating agreements, programs, institutional visits, and ongoing collaboration. We work closely with academic and administrative units, international partners, and external stakeholders to turn opportunities into sustainable initiatives that benefit students, faculty, and the broader Mason community.
