Mason Korea branded goods are now available for purchase due to a new partnership with Naver OGQ. Mason Korea Campus Dean Robert Matz signed an MOU with OGQ Cane CEO Wonsuk Lee to collaborate on manufacturing and selling Mason branded goods.
Naver OGQ operates an online market that offers digital content such as stickers, images, videos, fonts, and audio sources in collaboration with Naver and Afreeca TV. This partnership will allow Mason Korea to sign a trademark license and partner with OGQ to manufacture and sell University merchandise.
This partnership will also give priority consideration to Mason Korea graduating seniors for paid internships and give opportunities for Computer Game Design students to create and sell their creative contents on the Naver OGQ digital platform.
“Many of our students and visitors have expressed their desire to purchase Mason souvenirs at our campus," said Campus Dean Robert Matz, adding, "We are thrilled to be able to offer Mason merchandise and look forward to more unique opportunities for students, including a chance to design University merchandise themselves.”
Mason Korea Strategic Partnerships Director Christina Cha and Computer Game Design faculty John David McGrew and John P. Doran also attended the MOU signing ceremony.
