Mason Korea Computer Game Design Professors John P. Doran and John David McGrew recently won the best paper award at the International Conference on Global Trends in Gaming (ICGTG) 2022 at Tongmyong University in Busan.
Professors Doran and McGrew co-authored a paper titled “Games for Good: An Exploration of Game-Based Digital Therapeutics (DTx),” which Doran presented at ICGTG 2022. Their research was sponsored by Mason Korea industry partner NCSOFT.
The two professors also presented their paper at the International Symposium on DTx held at George Mason University’s Fairfax campus last fall.
